HISTORY OF THE VENUE

Founded in 1869 in Fulham, London, The Hurlingham Club is a prestigious private members' club known as the birthplace of modern polo, establishing the first formal rules in 1875. Originally a pigeon-shooting venue, the 42-acre riverside estate evolved into an exclusive club with neo-classical roots, featuring extensive, well-maintained gardens, sports facilities, and a grand Georgian clubhouse.

With over 12,500 members, the club is renowned for its long waiting list and high-society status.
